Laboratory Water Resistance Test
The BfR combat boot has been tested for water resistance using the SATRA Dynamic Footwear Water Penetration Test. With the BfR boot in the horizontal position and the water level above the featherline at the highest point (the toe), the BfR combat boot was flexed continuously over a prolonged period, whilst being inspected at various stages for water penetration.
The BfR combat boot tested easily met SATRA's recommendation for highly water-resistant footwear, exceeding the target number of flexes by a factor of more than 30 times.
